Ringling Circus to Move Operations Back to the Area

From 1927, when John Ringling moved the circus headquarters to Sarasota, to 1990, when it moved from what was then its Venice headquarters, the Ringling name and this area were almost synonymous. And now "the circus is coming back to town"!

The company expects to spend more than $20 million to buy and renovate the Palmetto Corporate Center and move its global corporate offices and worldwide production headquarters to the area. In all the company plans to add 235 jobs to Manatee to its existing employment of 148, along with the rehearsals for its Ringling Circus, Disney on Ice shows and operations from around the country.
