Sarasota Continues to Grow Talented Young People

Sarasota has been well known for its artists and performers since the days when John Ringling's circus wintered in our fair city. And today's young talent continues to shine with the promise of Sarasota's future.

I might not have paid much attention to the following young people if it were not for Tom Tucker, the closing attorney I often use.  Tom is the proud parent of two very talented, musical sons. One of them, Reed, has traveled Europe performing with his jazz band, Jazz Juvenocracy, and currently performs Sunday evenings at The Broadway in downtown Sarasota (corner of 10th and Cocoanut).

The other son, Evan, belongs to a rather unique band called "The Garbage Men" .       CLICK HERE to view an interview with this talented group of young people and see a bit of their performance on YouTube.

Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

March sales hit SEVEN-YEAR HIGH

The Sarasota real estate market saw sales climb to a seven-year high in March 2012, with 831 properties changing hands during the month. Not since September 2005 has the local real estate association seen sales at that level. In addition, pending sales (which represent properties that went under contract during the month) reached the highest level in 12 month, another good indication that the current market surge will continue in the next few months.
